The Belvedere sits inside Holland Park in a seventeenth-century orangery, serving Italian food. Because the restaurant is within the park rather than on a road, the approach is on foot from an agreed set-down point — best arranged in advance, particularly on darker evenings. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, and lunch is served at weekends only.

Core by Clare Smyth on Kensington Park Road holds three Michelin stars and is closed Sundays and Mondays. Kyoto Garden inside the park closes at eight in the evening, which matters if you are arranging a late collection.

The Design Museum and Kensington High Street are a few minutes south.
